General Manager I

The General Manager I will oversee the day-to-day activities of restaurant associates, manage multiple priorities, and ensure the success of the restaurant under their leadership. They will be responsible for managing the restaurant's profitability, deploying staff and resources, and ensuring compliance with company and brand standards. The General Manager I will also be responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of all applicable brand standards, CBAs, Landlord lease agreements, and all procedures and protocols to maximize brand/landlord/labor relations.

What You Will Do

The General Manager I will perform various tasks, including ensuring all assistant managers and staff recognize the importance of closing the restaurant to prepare for opening, deploying staff and resources to maximize profitability, and ensuring that all shifts are covered. They will also be responsible for interviewing job candidates, making hiring and termination decisions, and promoting HMSHost as an employer of choice within the local community.
