General Manager

As a General Manager, you will be responsible for managing a diverse group of functions and departments for a designated portfolio of cemetery and funeral home locations. You will be a unique blend of a seasoned operator and a natural people leader, with experience managing multiple departments within multiple locations. You will be responsible for taking full ownership of all aspects of your portfolio's daily operations, including full P&L responsibility, and achieving or exceeding budgeted sales and profit levels.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include managing merchandise and property inventory, influencing and managing relationships with vendors, ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety standards, and selecting and purchasing necessary materials for operations within budgetary guidelines. You will also be responsible for providing motivational leadership to teams, facilitating weekly managers meetings, and writing and conducting timely performance reviews.
