Job Description
BlueLinx is seeking a results-driven General Manager with a proven track record of leading sales teams and managing profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader who thrives on challenges and seeks opportunities to inspire and excel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited University (strongly preferred)
  • 8 plus years of experience with a solid track record of enhancing sales and Operational involvement
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic planning, negotiation, financial acumen, and analytical skills
  • Results-minded individual with a strong ability to communicate the opportunity of growth to the entire staff
  • Building Material Experience is a huge Plus
  • Territory management and target marketing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, sense of urgency, problem-solving, and customer focus
  • Extensive product knowledge, consultative, and relationship selling skills
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Software and relevant sales systems technology
