Role OverviewThe General Production role involves completing select production activities and operating machinery associated with JELD-WEN product lines. This position holds greater knowledge and responsibility than General Production I and II positions. It may provide guidance to General Production I and II employees and works closely with management and skilled trade positions to perform more complex duties.
What You Will Do
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role include demonstrating advanced knowledge of organizational goals, objectives, policies, and procedures. It also involves collaborating with all levels of the organization to coordinate work requiring skilled trade workers, contacting and scheduling vendors or contractors, and communicating repair needs to supervisory staff.
