Role OverviewAs a General Service Technician at Big O Tires, you will perform service and installation activities associated with store products and services in an accurate and timely manner. You will consistently and courteously greet and thank each customer and provide fast and friendly customer service. You will also maintain internal and external store appearance to comply with Big O Tires standards.
What You Will Do
Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include draining oil and changing oil filters, lubricating vehicles, installing, rotating, and balancing tires, checking and filling various fluids, checking and replacing various filters and lights, and performing all necessary sales duties per company policy and procedure.

Requirements
- 17 years of age (with parental consent) or older
- Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials
- Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
- Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to exchange accurate information with customers
- Ability and willingness to work with hazardous materials
- Ability to consistently work in outdoor weather conditions
- Ability and willingness to comply with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) regulations
- Valid driver's license
- Vision, hearing, speech, and the ability to detect odors
- Ability to move and position self to move and retrieve product and supplies from shelves, under counters, or stacks of inventory weighing up to 75 pounds
- Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language to communicate accurately and effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to meet company requirements including successful pre-employment screenings
- Legal authorization to work in the United States of America
- Ability to obtain Current Motor Vehicle Inspection license within 6 months of eligibility (for Missouri based stores)
