Job Description
TxDOT's Amarillo District is looking for a General Transportation Tech II/III to work in our E-Way Maintenance Section. TxDOT offers competitive pay, great benefits, and work-life balance.

Requirements

  • Maintains construction project records and/or bridge inspection records; processes related paperwork; reviews files for compliance with the bridge inspection Manual of Procedures.
  • Maintains highways and rights-of-way; performs skilled roadway repairs; erects and repairs guard rails, highway markers and signs; hauls materials and equipment to job sites.
  • Identifies, repairs, and installs signs, delineators, mailbox supports and posts; performs welding; and uses/moves equipment/tools, materials and products.
