Role OverviewThe General Transportation Manager I is responsible for the safe management of the Transportation Operations and delivery of product, managing all aspects of the business in the Region as assigned. This includes leading employees, managing transportation assets, costs, third-party carriers, and brokers. The General Manager fosters teamwork, open communications, and cooperation across all functional teams and regions.
What You Will Do
Manage all aspects of safety, plan and implement strategies to increase driver recruiting and retention efforts, work closely with internal customers to develop new business and grow existing accounts, manage the P&L for the Transportation Operations, and prepare written weekly, monthly, and budgetary reports.

Requirements
- 7 years' experience in a Transportation related field
- 5 years in a supervisory role
- Bachelor's Degree; preferably in Engineering or Business
