Role OverviewThe Generalist will provide quality support services to members, facilitating their goals and promoting consumer empowerment. The role involves managing a caseload, building programming around various areas, and working with members to learn new skills. The Generalist will engage members in daily activities, provide assistance and training, and ensure the assigned unit logbook is current.
What You Will Do
Engage members in various units, provide assistance and training, facilitate groups, and ensure the assigned unit logbook is current. Accompany members on outings, provide transitional employment support, and maintain member case records. Coordinate and supervise member case records, and encourage members to work or attend school/training.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma/equivalency, experience in Clubhouse or Case Management, and basic computer skills. They should be able to maintain positive enthusiasm towards job accountabilities and objectives, and have a respect for people experiencing psychiatric crisis. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Requirements
- High school diploma/equivalency required
- Associate or bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
- Minimum of one-year experience in Clubhouse, Case Management or similar role
- Ability to maintain positive enthusiasm towards job accountabilities and objectives
- Basic computer skills required
