Role OverviewAs a Generator Systems Specialist, you will serve as the technical expert responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical and engine-related issues on natural gas-powered generators. You will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and product validation to ensure our generators meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and quality.
What You Will Do
Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting of natural gas-powered generators, diagnose complex engine performance issues, and troubleshoot fuel delivery systems, ignition systems, cooling systems, lubrication systems, emissions equipment, and engine accessories.

Requirements
- Associate's degree in Diesel Technology, Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience troubleshooting industrial engines, generators, heavy equipment, or similar mechanical systems
- Strong understanding of natural gas or diesel engine operation and diagnostics
- Experience troubleshooting fuel, cooling, lubrication, ignition, emissions, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, engine documentation, and electrical schematics
- Experience using diagnostic software, engine service tools, and electronic service manuals
- Strong understanding of mechanical measurement tools
- Excellent root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
