Job Description
The Genetic Counseling Intern will support team members in routine clinical and research activities under supervision, performing case preparation, assisting with genetic testing, and performing clerical duties. Must abide by policies to maintain patient confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in health sciences related field or psychology field (Required)
  • Admittance to an accredited genetic counseling training program (Preferred)
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with licensed genetic counselor and/or licensed medical geneticist
