Job Description
The Genetic Counselor will work in the McDermott Center for Human Growth and Development at UT Southwestern, providing genetic counseling services and contributing to a population sequencing project. The position requires a Master's Degree in genetics and certification as a Genetic Counselor. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of related experience and be able to work closely with a research team to implement a cascade screening protocol.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree from board accredited program in genetics
  • Licenses and Certifications: (ABGC-CGC) CERTIFIED GENETIC COUNSELOR by American Board of Medical Genetics or American Board of Genetic Counseling within 1 Year
  • 2 years of related experience preferred
