Job Description
At HDR, we're looking for a Geologist 1 to join our team. As a Geologist 1, you'll travel to perform oversight of drilling operations, set up field exploration programs, and conduct field visits to observe construction activities. You'll also be responsible for preparing technical reports and interacting with subcontractors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Science, Hydrogeology or closely related field
  • Ability to assess and classify soil and rock samples to determine geologic type
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs
  • Self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks in adverse environmental conditions
