Role OverviewWe are seeking a Geologist 3 to join the Division of Oil & Gas, headquartered in Tuscarawas County. The Geologist 3 will plan and conduct complex geologic investigations to evaluate citizen complaints and regulated industry referrals alleging ground water impacts or environmental impacts from oil field operations.
What You Will Do
The Geologist 3 will conduct investigations, coordinate and complete sampling activities, prepare reports, and testify as an expert witness in civil, criminal, and administrative hearings.

Requirements
- Completion of undergraduate core program in geology, hydrogeology or other specialized geologic science
- 24 mos. exp. in geologic field, laboratory &/or drafting methods & techniques
- Or completion of graduate core program in geology, hydrogeology or other specialized geologic science
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment
