Role Overview

As a Summer College Intern, you will play an integral role in the success of our organization and the early formation of your professional career. You will work under minimal supervision or in collaboration with our knowledgeable, dynamic staff on a wide variety of projects.

What You Will Do

Field tasks on construction materials testing projects, including field observation, sampling and testing of construction materials, and clear documentation of results.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This internship is suitable for students who are motivated, have effective verbal and written communication skills, and are able to lift and/or move up to 60-80 pounds.

Requirements

  • Commitment to work at least 10 weeks during the summer months
  • Reliable vehicle for construction sites, valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 60-80 pounds

  • Ability to perform basic mathematical procedures and use measurement tools
