The Geotechnical Senior Engineer I will apply technical expertise to develop proposals and technical deliverables for industrial projects. The Geotechnical Senior Engineer I will prepare scope of work documents, coordinate geotechnical subconsultants, review reports, and advise on foundation solutions. The role also involves performing field activities, preparing calculations, and designing retaining walls.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred
• 6+ years engineering experience in geotechnical engineering of industrial facilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously under time sensitive deadlines
• Detail oriented, committed to quality
• Demonstrates a proactive approach and consistently positive demeanor
• Knowledge of codes and standards relevant to geotechnical design (ASCE-7, IBC, e.g.)
• Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Proficient in Microsoft WORD and Excel
