Job Description
Valley View seeks an experienced development professional to support and grow the philanthropic impact of the Valley View Foundation as our Gift Officer. The Gifts Officer will be responsible for qualifying, cultivating and stewarding current and prospective donors to Valley View Foundation, with the objective of growing philanthropic support.

Requirements

  • Qualifying, cultivating and stewarding current and prospective donors
  • Securing gifts up to $25,000 and growing the number of major gifts
  • Identifying prospects and soliciting gifts by bequests, trusts, charitable gift annuities and other planned giving vehicles
  • Collaborating with internal and external constituencies to support a comprehensive fundraising program
  • Identifying, researching and qualifying prospective individual donors
  • Ensuring timely and meaningful stewardship of gifts
  • Proactively and strategically managing a portfolio of at least 100 donors
  • Planning and executing various tactics to advance major and planned giving
  • Effectively managing data and maintaining accurate and up-to-date donor records
