Role OverviewBASIS Phoenix is seeking a qualified candidate to join our bright, passionate team as a Girl's Varsity Basketball Coach. The position is part of an auxiliary program and is not a full-time position. The coach will be responsible for teaching young athletes the fundamentals of basketball, creating and implementing drills, and coaching students through best practices in sportsmanship.
What You Will Do
The coach will effectively teach young athletes the fundamentals of basketball, create and implement drills to help build foundational skills, coach students through best practices in sportsmanship, and attend all games, practices, or scrimmages.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have previous coaching experience, experience working with young athletes, and the ability to demonstrate basketball skills effectively. Collegiate student-athlete experience is also a plus.
Requirements
- HS diploma, Bachelor's preferred
- Previous coaching experience

- Experience in playing basketball at a competitive level
