Role OverviewThis position performs routine and complex GIS data analyses and database-related assignments for the city departments. The employee will have the responsibility of performing a variety of Citywide GIS application development functions, evaluating, installing, maintaining, and enhancing GIS applications, and creating custom GIS web applications and maintaining databases, functions, and services.
What You Will Do
Performing ad hoc mapping duties including advanced spatial and network analysis, utilizing ArcGIS Model Builder to perform spatial analysis and develop applications, and preparing reports, graphical and tabular, using GIS tools.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of ESRI’s SDE Enterprise functionality and MS SQL, and be able to collect and convert mapping resources and data within the scopes of services for the Engineering/GIS division.
Requirements
- Associates degree in GIS or related field
- One (1) year of experience in GIS position or related field
- Valid Texas driver’s license
