Role Overview

The GIS College Aide will conduct spatial analysis and develop visualizations, supporting the team with writing scripts to automatically generate, update, and publish map products. They will work with census data, agency program data, and other sources to do spatial analysis, clean, analyze, and interpret complex social, economic, and population data, and provide recommendations.

What You Will Do

Locate, process, and acquire demographic, census, or other open-source data sets, format data received from internal and external sources, prepare maps and displays, work with census data and agency program data, clean and analyze complex data, and present results.

Requirements

  • Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school
