Job Description
GIS Support Engineer role at the Office of Technology and Innovation (OTI) to work on the 3D Underground Project, a Grant-funded position with a tenure through June 2029. The team builds various spatial data solutions and products to enable the analysis and use of Citywide spatial assets. The Support Engineer will work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with other passionate professionals who share your drive and commitment to making a difference through technology.

Requirements

  • Work with GIS and Data Engineering teams to develop and deploy cloud-enabled solutions for underground data integration.
  • Set up, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployments.
  • Build maintainable and scalable cloud architectures with features such as containerization, monitoring/alerting, and secure integrations.
  • Support the team's architectural discussions.
  • Maintain critical GIS infrastructure.
  • Collaborate in a team environment and interface with developers, engineers, and City stakeholders to support 3D Underground program objectives.
  • Handle special projects and initiatives assigned for the 3D Underground project.
