Job Description
The New York County District Attorney's Office has an immediate opening for eight Reporter/Stenographers in the Grand Jury Stenographers Unit. The Reporter Stenographer is responsible for taking and transcribing verbatim testimony of confidential grand jury proceedings.

Requirements

  • Associate Occupational Science Degree in Court Reporting
  • 180-200 words per minute typing speed
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment collaboratively and cooperatively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines
  • Authorization to work in the United States
