Role OverviewWe are looking for an Estimator to independently deliver accurate estimates on time. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Glass, Glazing, Curtain Wall and Metal Panels industry.
What You Will Do
The Estimator will collect bid documents, review drawings and specifications, and compile a detailed takeoff of materials required for the project. They will also communicate with clients and organize responses as part of the bid documents.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The successful candidate will have a degree in Architectural, Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience. They will be highly organized and able to read drawings and conceptualize building designs.
Requirements
- Degree in Architectural, Engineering, or Construction Management
- Equivalent experience in the construction field
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows, and Bluebeam
- Ability to read drawings and conceptualize building designs
- Highly organized
