Job Description
The Texas General Land Office is seeking an Accountant IV (Gas Accountant) within the Energy Resources Department of the agency. The Gas Accountant performs complex accounting work, including verifying and reconciling payable invoices from vendors, preparing and processing payment forms, and providing contracting status reports.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in business or related field
  • Four (4) years of experience in oil and gas, utilities, purchasing or field related to the agency program
  • Experience with Quorum Software
