Job Description
The Texas General Land Office is seeking a Director of Engineering to direct enterprise application engineering and software delivery functions. The role oversees the development, modernization, and sustainment of scalable, secure, and reliable application solutions across cloud, hybrid, and software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience leading enterprise application engineering or software delivery functions in complex organizational environments
  • Experience operating within a product-oriented delivery model, including collaboration with Product Management and portfolio or program management functions
