Job Description
The Safety Specialist Supervisor is responsible for leading safety audits, reviewing safety incidents, and checking safety programs and procedures to ensure they are working correctly. The role requires technical expertise and business knowledge to guide Process Safety audits and apply Global Assurance standards consistently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • ISO 45001 Auditor certification is preferred but not required.
  • At least 10 years of experience in health and safety roles.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading or supporting process safety programs.
  • Strong understanding of process safety standards, workplace safety systems, and industrial risk management.
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 and other process safety frameworks.
  • Experience leading teams, coaching employees, and managing projects.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and work with teams across different departments and locations.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical decision-making.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
