Global Social Media Manager

The Global Social Media Manager plays a pivotal role in defining and leading Arcadis' global organic social media strategy, ensuring social media is a high-performing channel within our broader brand, marketing and growth agenda.

The successful candidate will play a strategic role in shaping how social media drives brand positioning, omnichannel engagement, and demand generation, while protecting and enhancing Arcadis' reputation across global markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline
• 7+ years' experience in digital marketing, with significant experience in social media strategy and management
• Proven experience developing and leading social media strategy for a complex, global or matrixed organisation.
• Strong track record of translating strategy into consistent operational delivery across multiple teams, stakeholders and markets
• Experience supporting brand positioning, audience engagement and demand generation through social and integrated digital activity
• Demonstrated ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy, balancing strategic thinking with practical execution
• Strong experience managing and influencing senior stakeholders in a global business environment
• Experience in identifying, managing and mitigating reputational risk across social channels
• Deep understanding of social platforms, audience dynamics, content strategy and analytics
• Experience using social media management tools, with Oktopost experience considered an advantage.
• Strong experience with Google Analytics, and social media reporting tools
• Strong experience in leading, coaching, and developing talent, with a focus on building high-performing teams and long-term capability. Experience leading offshore teams would be beneficial.
