Role OverviewThe GME Coordinator is responsible for the operational functions of the accredited GME training programs. The position requires a comprehensive and detailed understanding of the national accreditation policies and hospital policies, as well as a high degree of initiative and independent judgment. The Program Coordinator should be organized in planning, assisting with maintaining continuing accreditation, recruiting of trainees, projects, analyzing and maintaining databases, communicating with faculty and trainees regarding a range of issues and managing internal and external program relations.
What You Will Do
The responsibilities include maintaining continuing accreditation, recruiting trainees, managing databases, communicating with faculty and trainees, and managing internal and external program relations. Should have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and GME databases.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of GME experience, ACGME experience, and TAGME certification. Experience with New Innovations and ERAS is preferred.
Requirements
- Three (3) to five (5) years of Graduate Medical Education (GME) experience preferred
- ACGME experience preferred
- TAGME certification encouraged but not required
