Role OverviewThe Government Affairs Officer will support the advancement of NYC Aging's outreach efforts, intergovernmental endeavors, and awareness campaigns for the Borough of Queens. The role involves representing NYC Aging at various meetings, establishing relationships with elected officials and community leaders, and working closely with NYC Aging's Bureaus and Units on outreach strategies and initiatives.

Attend intergovernmental and community meetings, establish and maintain relationships with elected officials and community leaders, represent NYC Aging at Community- and Borough- Board meetings, and work closely with NYC Aging's Bureaus and Units on outreach strategies and initiatives.

Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
- Two years of experience in community work or community centered activities
- High school graduation or equivalent
- Six years of experience in community work or community centered activities
