Role Overview

This position is responsible for the administration of policies and procedures, solving problems, and handling administrative duties in Headquarters relative to the operation of the Captive Wildlife Investigations Section on a statewide basis. The position involves interpreting state and federal laws, reviewing and approving captive wildlife applications, and conducting and coordinating training and presentations for the Captive Wildlife Section and stakeholders.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities include communicating with the public, reading and understanding applicable rules and regulations, using personal computers, setting up and organizing office files, working independently, preparing correspondence and administrative reports, and establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others.
