Government Operations Consultant III

We are seeking to hire Government Operations Consultant III who desires to work to enhance the delivery of health care services through the Florida Medicaid Program. This position requires a candidate who is creative, flexible, innovative, and who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-based work environment.

What You Will Do

This position is responsible for analyzing, developing, implementing, coordinating, and/or monitoring contracted medical assistance and long-term care services for the Statewide Medicaid Managed Care Program (SMMC) within the Bureau of Plan Management. The incumbent in this position maintains up-to-date knowledge concerning the Florida Medicaid program, including pertinent Federal laws and regulations, state statutes and rules.

Requirements

• One (1) year of Medicaid Plan Contract Management experience.
• One (1) year of experience working with a Managed Care organization.
• One (1) year of experience working with long-term care programs is preferred.
