The Government Relations Associate will be responsible for focusing on state advocacy and policy, supporting government relations efforts at the state level, building relationships with key policymakers and staff, advocating for legislative priorities, and monitoring state-level developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in political science, public policy, public relations, education or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in government relations, public policy, or a related field, with a focus on state-level advocacy and legislative processes
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficient time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
