Role OverviewThe Graduate Assistant - Research will support the research, scholarly, community engagement, and grant development activities of the Center for Innovative Research, Collaboration, Leadership, and Community Engagement (CIRCLE) within the School of Public and Allied Health. Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Graduate Assistant - Research will assist with interdisciplinary research projects, grant proposal development, data collection and analysis, community-engaged initiatives, student research programming, scientific writing, and dissemination of research findings.
What You Will Do
Assist with research studies, conduct literature reviews, assist with IRB submissions, recruit research participants, collect and analyze data, clean and manage research datasets, conduct statistical analyses, assist with grant proposal development, and support dissemination of research findings.

Requirements
- Admission and enrollment in a graduate degree program at Prairie View A&M University
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated interest in research and scholarship
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
