Job Description
UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Graduate Medical Education Program Coordinator I, Internal Medicine, GI. The position is responsible for the successful administration and coordination of one or more accredited/non-accredited residency/fellowship programs. The coordinator will work closely with the Program Director to ensure the successful implementation and oversight of program activities.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field (or two years of related experience or 60 semester hours of college credit may substitute for an Associate's Degree)
  • May be required to submit to a federal background investigation
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of relevant software systems, such as Residency Management System (RMS) and electronic health records (EHR)
