Job Description
The Graduate Nurse in the Emergency Room at Allegheny General Hospital assists in providing care to critically ill patients. The position requires recent Emergency Room or Pre-Hospital experience and specific certifications. The hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center with 550+ beds, offering a variety of specialized care units, including state-of-the-art ICUs and a Cancer Center.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year recent Emergency Room or Pre-Hospital experience
  • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
  • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
  • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
  • Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
  • CPR certification
