Role Overview

The Grant Coordinator will conduct pre-award grant activities, including research, writing, and submission of grants. The incumbent will serve as the primary grant writer on applications prioritized by the Department and provide writing and editing support on other grants and projects.

What You Will Do

Duties include research and identifying funding opportunities, reviewing solicitation criteria, providing guidance to staff, supporting grant preparation, and serving as the primary grant writer on prioritized applications.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of full-time or equivalent part-time professional experience in business administration, public administration, or a related field
  • A certificate in a relevant or related field may be substituted for 1 year of experience
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field may be substituted for 2 years of experience
  • A Graduate degree in a related field may be substituted for 3 years of experience
  • A Doctorate degree in a related field may be substituted for 4 years of experience
