Job Description
Role Overview

The Grant Developer contributes to the Jacksonville Housing Authority's success by identifying, researching, developing, and submitting proposals, trend reports, partnership recommendations, and grant applications to secure resources for the organization's capital and programmatic initiatives.

What You Will Do

Identify, research, and develop program designs and modifications to qualify for available funding, prioritize and develop partnerships with governmental, not-for-profit, and service agencies, and coordinate and develop grant applications for submission.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Social Services Administration, Business Administration, Communications, Public Policy, or related field
  • 3-6 years of directly relevant competitive government funding development or foundation experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Computer proficiency in Grants.gov, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
