Role OverviewThe Grant Specialist B is responsible for managing complex contractual agreements for the section from inception to close. Conducts work in complex financial operations by the administration, coordination, development, implementation, monitoring and/or oversight of contracts and grants.
What You Will Do
Manages contractual agreements, conducts financial operations, and monitors grants. Composes, coordinates, manages, executes, tracks, and monitors contractual agreements and amendments for fixed capital outlay appropriations and nonrecurring grants to local governments.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience managing contracts, using Excel techniques, and documenting grant reimbursements and expenditures. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Florida Certified Contract Manager certification within the first year of employment
- One (1) or more years’ experience managing contracts that are $1,000,000 or greater
- One (1) or more years’ experience using Excel techniques
- One (1) or more years’ experience documenting grant reimbursements and expenditures
