As a Grant Writer, you will be responsible for researching, preparing, and submitting grant proposals to Federal, state, local, and private funding agencies. You will work within the Philanthropy and Grants Department to develop and maintain knowledge of substance use disorder treatment, Gaudenzia's full continuum of treatment and recovery support services, and craft compelling proposals that advance the agency's mission and strategic priorities.
What You Will Do
Your responsibilities will include writing, editing, and submitting grant proposals, attending pre-bidder's conferences, drafting proposal summaries, and scheduling and attending proposal planning meetings with internal stakeholders. You will also conduct follow-up with funding sources, maintain accurate repositories and databases of grants submitted, and evaluate grant outcomes to assess the impact and effectiveness of grant-funded projects.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- At least two years of experience in proposal writing or editing in a similar industry
