Role Overview

The Grants Analysis, Analyst will work with Federal Clients in Washington, DC, to ensure efficient and accurate communication with grantees. The role requires on-site work, but the schedule may change based on company/contract requirements. The Grants Analysis, Analyst will support the award facilitation process, assist with the development and management of awards, and perform final reviews of completed awards.

What You Will Do

The Grants Analysis, Analyst will perform various tasks, including setting up and organizing meetings between Grants Officers, Program Officers, and grantees, communicating with grantees during the pre-award, post-award, and closeout phases, and preparing award documentation. The role also involves reconciling obligation balances to PMS, SAMS Domestic, and GFMS status of obligations.

The candidate should also have knowledge of Federal Assistance regulations, policies, and processes, as well as proficiency with information systems supporting financial and/or procurement processes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with managing and auditing grants as well as performing grant closings
  • Ability to analyze program data and evaluate written documents to support award negotiations as well as monitoring performance
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Federal Assistance regulations, policies, and process
