Job Description
The Grants and Contracts Specialist supports the administration of sponsored research by coordinating the full lifecycle of grant awards from application submission through closeout. This position prepares and submits applications to federal funding agencies and research foundations; oversees award setup and maintenance; monitors and manages grant expenditures to ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines, Uniform Guidance, and institutional policies; assists in preparing required progress and financial reports; and facilitates timely and accurate award closeout.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, public administration, or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in business or public administration with emphasis on customer service in financial or contracting position.
  • Significant additional professional applicable experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement.
