Job Description
The State of Connecticut, Department of Public Health (DPH), is seeking a Grant and Contracts Specialist to join the Operations Support Services Section, in the Budget Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and managing Federal grant budgets, working closely with accounting and procurement teams, and partnering with other teams to keep vital programs running smoothly.
Requirements
Seven (7) years of experience in planning, implementation and/or management of grant programs on a community, state or federal level.
Considerable knowledge of grant preparation and administration, program evaluation and monitoring functions, research methods and techniques, budget preparation and monitoring, and computer software.
Interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and supervisory ability.
