Job Description
The Department of Social Services (DSS) is recruiting for a Graphic Artist II to join the Office of Procedures. The role involves creating and editing graphics for DSS documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to agency standards, and acting as a consultant to the Office of Policy, Procedure and Training. The position requires creative design skills and experience working with specialized technology.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree with a major in fine or graphic arts, or a four-year high school diploma/equivalent with two years of equivalent training in artistic media
  • One year of full-time paid experience as a graphic artist
  • Two years of equivalent paid experience as a graphic artist (or one of the two listed above)
  • Experience with computer graphics software
  • Ability to conceptualize and implement original graphic designs
