The Grinder/Finisher is responsible for finishing metal components to precise specifications using grinding and polishing tools and machinery.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
  • Minimum 1-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Manual dexterity to handle and operate several grinding tools and equipment
  • Forklift experience is preferred
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively manage time, multi-task, and pay close attention to details
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Capable of following directions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
