Role OverviewAssist skilled substation craft workers installing or repairing cables or wires used in electrical power or distribution systems. Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials.
What You Will Do
Perform a variety of routine, non-machine tasks, such as removing forms from set concrete, filling expansion joints with asphalt, placing culvert sections in trench, assembling sections of dredge pipeline, driving stakes. Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.

Requirements
- NCCER Construction Craft Laborer NCCER Core Curriculum or equivalent Craft Training Program
- 0 - 2 years of experience working as a laborer or in any construction craft as a helper
- Basic knowledge of the substation field of work
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Must have all necessary tools
- Must be at least 18 years of age
