Role OverviewThe Grounds Laborer – Maintenance plays an essential role in maintaining safe, clean, and professional federal facilities. This position ensures that grounds, equipment, and surrounding structures are properly maintained in accordance with the Contract Statement of Work, Standard Operating Procedures, and Didlake policies, supporting daily operations and promoting a respectful, team-focused work environment.
What You Will Do
Perform day-to-day operations of the federal site grounds maintenance contract. Maintain grounds of industrial, commercial, and public properties, including buildings, parks, playgrounds, picnic areas, athletic fields, and greenhouses.

Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) months of experience in grounds maintenance.
- Must have a valid Real ID for access to the work site.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required credentials and background checks as required by the contract.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to learn the proper use and basic operator maintenance of routine grounds maintenance equipment and hand tools.
- Ability to follow safety procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while meeting contract standards.
