Role OverviewThe Grounds/Security Superintendent is responsible for overseeing daily groundskeeping and security activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. This role involves managing the plant grounds, developing and overseeing budgets, and maintaining precise records of equipment maintenance and inventory. The Superintendent will also oversee the Security Department, which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities of this role include ensuring all company objectives and standards are being maintained regarding infectious diseases, inspecting grounds regularly to find hazards or maintenance issues, and managing and maintaining ground equipment. The Superintendent will also be responsible for completing daily and weekly reports, addressing employee conflicts and issues, and communicating with company staff and external service providers.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3-5 years of safety or engineering experience
- A four-year degree in safety, industrial hygiene, or an engineering-related field
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to work at different temperatures and long hours, including some weekends
