Role OverviewThe Grounds & Snow Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of assigned County properties and the repair and maintenance of associated equipment and systems. This position performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled work.
What You Will Do
Performs overall maintenance and upkeep of county lawns and plants, maintains and cleans out drainage ditches and culverts, sweeps/cleans walkways, stairs, garages, driveways, identifies and oversees alteration projects, maintains and repairs irrigation system, and performs snow and ice removal.

Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment
- Ability to apply pesticides/herbicides
- Knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment common to grounds maintenance
- Ability to safely operate a truck and trailer combination
- Possession of a valid Class “R” Colorado Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one within two weeks of appointment
