Job Description
ASRC Federal is seeking a Grounds Technician to support our customer located at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Grounds Technician maintains grounds of industrial, commercial or public property, including cutting grass, trimming hedges, pruning shrubs and trees, and performing other grounds maintenance tasks.

Requirements

  • Minimum education level of high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Three to six months of prior grounds experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work with hands and knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and practices used in the field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trades involved
  • Demonstrated skill in the care and use of the tools and equipment in the trades involved
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have proficient English oral and written communication skills
  • Must be a US citizen and currently possess or be able to obtain/maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance
  • Must possess and maintain a valid US driver's license
  • Be able to pass a drug screen
  • Have ability to perform repetitive physical tasks involving lifting at least 50 lbs
  • Be committed to providing for and maintaining a safe working environment
