Role OverviewThe Groundskeeper performs work in the general landscaping and ground maintenance of apartment buildings and building fixtures. The incumbent works as a member of a maintenance crew and performs a variety of skilled tasks in general landscaping.
What You Will Do
Perform general landscaping and grounds maintenance duties, including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and planting. Operate a variety of landscaping and maintenance equipment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Prior experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or a related field preferred. Basic understanding of herbicide use and safety. Ability to safely operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment.
Requirements
- High School Graduation or GED
- Previous experience as a groundskeeper
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to be insurable under the Authority's automobile insurance plan at the standard rate
