Groundskeeper

The Groundskeeper maintains the beauty of plants, outdoor grounds, and trees across multiple gardens and lawns. They work in collaboration with the garden design team, maintenance team, and department heads. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, able to manage small and heavy machinery, and possess some knowledge of effective gardening techniques, lawn maintenance, and snow removal.

What You Will Do

Perform general maintenance tasks including designing, producing, renewing, and preserving outside spaces. Maintain and grow the garden to meet specific requirements and expectations. Perform basic maintenance such as pruning, cutting the grass, emptying bins, managing weed control, and leaf raking.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, professional, and possess some knowledge of effective gardening techniques, lawn maintenance, and snow removal. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required. Weekends and holidays are a must.

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of proven experience in a similar role
• Ability to handle a range of horticultural and lawn machinery and powered hand and riding tools
• Basic knowledge of plants and gardening techniques
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Solid understanding of health and safety rules and legislation
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Positive attitude
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and some nights
• Driver's license with reliable transportation
